GREENVILLE CHURCH'S GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY

ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST parish in Greenville just celebrated the 50th anniversary of its church with a Mass, refreshments and entertainment. Photographer Nate Whitchurch was on hand to capture the occasion.

Michael Flannery, outgoing pastor of St. John's and of Sacred Heart parish in Cairo, and Rev. Steve Matthews, the new pastor, together lead the parish in prayer.
