From Sunday bulletins: senior living edition
The Rosary Altar Society at Immaculate Conception parish in Glenville sponsored a talk by "the Victorian Lady," SUE MCLANE, who spoke on the 1837-1901 period of history while wearing original Victorian clothing; she brought artifacts and antiques from her personal collection.
Immaculate Conception just hosted "the long goodbye," a presentation on living with anticipatory grief and Alzheimer's disease.
Immaculate Conception also congratulated AL AND NORMA ANGELINO, who went to Rome for the ordination of their grandson, DAVID, as a transitional deacon for the Diocese of Houston, Tx.; he continues to study for the priesthood at the North American College in Rome.
The Ladies of Charity at Immaculate Conception will sell Advent wreath pins and Advent calendars before and after Masses Nov. 22-23 to benefit local Catholic food pantries....
St. Mary's/St. Paul's parish in Hudson Falls was one of many to have a bereavement memorial service in November; the parish also celebrated the 35th anniversary in the diaconate of DEACON WILLIAM BAZINET....
KATHLEEN LASHER of Christ Our Light parish in Loudonville just celebrated her 100th birthday. SID DEROLLO of Our Lady Queen of Apostles in Frankfort celebrated his 90th; so did YOLANDA LOMBARDI of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Schenectady.[[In-content Ad]]
