Exhibition moves to fourth site; teens host weekend
The official Sesquicentennial Exhibition of the Albany Diocese is now at its fourth home: Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Schenectady.
This is the first time the display has been in that city after stints in Albany, Oneonta and Latham.
As a special feature, teens from the youth ministry team in the parish cluster will host the exhibit after Masses on Sept. 6-7, offering light refreshments.
The exhibition, which debuted in May, has attracted thousands of visitors at its various locations around the Diocese. It consists of 12 panels showing diocesan history in photos, documents and text.
Assumption Church is accessible to those with handicaps.
(The Sesquicentennial Exhibition is open for viewing at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Schenectady, now through Sept. 14, after all weekend and daily Masses, and on weekdays by appointment. Call the parish office at 346-4926. Future sites will be announced in The Evangelist as they occur.)
