ANNOUNCEMENT

Diocesan offices merge

The Albany Diocese's Office of the Vicar for Vocations has merged with the Office of Initial Diaconate Formation.

Initial Diaconate Formation now joins with Priestly Formation, which supports and promotes vocations to the priesthood; and Vocations Awareness, which focuses on vocations to religious life. All three divisions are under the direction of the vicar for vocations, Rev. Anthony Ligato ([email protected]).

Deacon Paul Kisselback ([email protected]) is now director of aspirant and candidate formation for the diaconate, overseeing day-to-day training of future deacons. Deacon Frank Berning, who also heads St. Bernard's School of Theology and Ministry in Albany, will continue serving the initial diaconate formation program, as well. Sarah Raville ([email protected]) is administrative assistant for the combined offices, which can be reached at (518) 453-6690.[[In-content Ad]]
