OBITUARY
Deacon Ronald J. Schlitt
A native of Jersey City, N.J., he served with the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War, then worked as a software developer in New York, Ireland and Houston. Ordained a deacon for the Archdiocese of New York, he served at St. Christopher's Church in Buchanan, N.Y., and at St. Kateri Tekakwitha in Schenectady.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; children, Carol, Trish James, Maggie Schutzman and Ron Schlitt; 10 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a brother, Bud Noble. Interment was in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.[[In-content Ad]]
