OBITUARY
Deacon Frederick Carlos Scarletto
A native of Canton, Ohio, he served a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War and was ordained a deacon for the Diocese of Youngstown, Ohio. He also served in the Dioceses of Albany and Charlotte, N.C. In the Albany Diocese, he was director of youth ministry for a cluster of parishes in Schenectady, overseeing catechesis and youth ministry for 350 students. Later, he was in parish ministry in the Charlotte Diocese and was business/facilities manager at St. Thomas More Church in Lynchburg, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Therese; children, Edith and David; brother, David; and four grandchildren. Inurnment was in the columbarium at St. Thomas More Church, Lynchburg, Va.[[In-content Ad]]
