Dawn McGuinness

A funeral Mass was offered May 5 at Our Lady of Victory Church, Troy, for Dawn McGuinness, who died April 30. She was 49.

A native of Oakland, Calif., she worked in public relations for many years, including at the firm of Sawchuk Brown, and also worked as director of public relations for the Albany Diocese's Catholic Schools Office until 2007. She was a former board member for The Evangelist. Survivors include her husband, James, a current board member. Interment was in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.[[In-content Ad]]
