Big night for Hispanics
The Tenth Anniversary Award in Recognition of Excellence in Education will be presented to Dolores Fernandez, president, and her chief executive, Sandra Ruiz, from Eugenia Maria de Hostos College of the City University of New York.
The Sister Maria N. Dolan, CSJ, Award for Humanitarian Services will be presented to Fred Boehrer and Diana Conroy from Emmaus House, the Catholic Worker center in Albany.
Guest speaker will be Sister Maureen Joyce, RSM, executive director of Catholic Charities of the Albany Diocese.
"Una Noche de Hispanidad" begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour and silent auction; dinner will be served at 7 p.m. For more information, call Hispanic Outreach Services at 453-6655.
