To me, it is very important to be Catholic.

Both of my parents grew up going to Catholic school, along with my brother and me. Being Catholic means so much more to me than just going to theology class and praying. Being Catholic means we always have someone to talk to, Jesus. I feel that going to Saratoga Central Catholic connects all of us together by our religion, making us closer.

I came to Saratoga Central Catholic in eighth grade and since then I have definitely grown to love being Catholic. It is important to go here because of the small class sizes which makes it feel like we are all family.

I used to go to Saratoga High and I was never close with any of my teachers, but here at SCC I have a close relationship with all of my teachers and feel comfortable talking to them about anything. I believe I have made forever friends here and I’ll be able to take away so many life lessons after high school.

My faith is important to me because it gets me through a lot of hard times; knowing that I am meant to go through what I’m going through. My growing faith through high school has made these four years so much easier. I am happy my faith has grown because of SCC because I am positive it will continue to grow after high school and for the rest of my life.
