Students across the nearly two dozen schools in the Diocese of Albany returned to the classroom on Sept. 14 — whether in-person, hybrid or fully remotely — as the school year officially began amid the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. The Evangelist photographers went to St. Ambrose School in Latham and St. Pius X School in Loudonville to document the day.
