From Sunday bulletins

Can you furnish a "room at the inn?" A drive is underway to purchase mini-refrigerators for The Schuyler Inn in Menands, an emergency homeless shelter serving 70 families who live in hotel-sized rooms. Only a few of the rooms have refrigerators, so families must fill their sinks with ice to keep milk and other perishables from spoiling. Family Promise of the Capital Region is assisting with the drive. To donate, contact MARY GIORDANO of Family Promise, (518) 650-8895 or capitalregionfamilypromise@gmail.com....

PADRE LUIGI LANZILLI from Italy will celebrate a special Mass in Italian at St. Anthony's Church in Troy June 24, 5:30 p.m.

Also, St. Anthony's gave out "St. Anthony's Bread" to the needy for the saint's feast day, donated by nearby Bella Napoli bakery. The tradition states that, when a person prays to St. Anthony for a favor, he or she promises to give a gift to the poor or a charity. Volunteers MARY ANN JULIAN, BETTY BOTT, RAE FRANCESE, VIVIAN STUART, BARBARA BELLANTONI and JOANN MACKEY packed the bread.
